The first glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita, was released on July 3, 2025. While the teaser received a positive response, the makers of Adipurush released an 8K video of their song Jai Shri Ram on YouTube the same day.
The reason behind the latest move from Adipurush producers remains unknown for now. However, there are speculations that it was possibly a result of jealousy, considering that Adipurush was heavily criticized when it was released in 2023.
It seems like after two years, the makers of Adipurush have still not realized the mistake they committed. The film was brutally trolled for the dialogues and the looks of the characters. Furthermore, the makers never apologized to the audience for hurting their sentiments.
On the other hand, Nitesh Tiwari is not repeating a mistake like Adipurush, and the first glimpse has clearly proved the same. This is one of the reasons that Nitesh took a lot of time to make the film, and the teaser is getting praise from the audience.
Makers of Adipurush were possibly looking for a similar response in 2023, and this might have led to the release of the 8K music video. But its of no use since the characters and visuals are the same.
Adipurush is a film that people will remember for all the bad reasons and they might not give a lot of attention to the new music video as they are now waiting to watch what Nitesh Tiwari has planned to bring to the big screen.
