Jumping on the train next is Akshay Kumar’s Namastey London which is set for a re-release on March 14th coinciding with Holi. Before we jump to any conclusions, there are a lot of things to analyze.

Akshay Kumar is facing a rough patch in his career as he has been delivering constant flops in recent memory. With his films like Selifee getting 2 crores opening and getting a flop verdict, it is a sort of risky move to predict the reception for Namastey London’s re-release.
Not only Selfiee, his other disasters include Mission Raniganj, Samrat Prithviraj, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Bachchan Paandey which have failed to have a decent collections at the box office.

However, looking at the brighter side, Akshay Kumar ruled the box office in the 2000s with his quirky comedies and rom-coms. His on-screen chemistry with Katrina Kaif was splendid and they have several hits together.
Namastey London being one of them has been one of the most loved comedies of Akshay Kumar. The film showcases a story of a Punjabi man who tries to win the heart of his British-born wife played by Katrina Kaif.
