Salman Khan desperately needs to make a Bollywood comeback after Sikandar and his hopes lie with the film – Battle of Galwan. If it were for any other established superstar, they would want to make everything go right with this project and not experiment unnecessarily.
Salman on the other hand does not go by these formulas, from deciding his director to his music composer he is taking some big risks. Apoorva Lakhia who has less than 10% success rate with his projects is going to direct this film.
Moreover, as per reports he has casted Chitrangada as his heroine despite all the leading divas of today’s time because he had made a commitment to her. Of course Salman doesn’t listen to anyone once he has given a commitment.
But the riskiest move yet is giving the responsibility of music to Himesh Reshammiya as the music director. Fans and film critics are sceptical about this choice because Himesh is not known for a serious genre of music and Battle of Galwan requires a solemn track.
Many joked that they would have to hear Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in the BGM of the war film. Yet, there are others who believe in Himesh and feel that he has a range that non-fans have not explored.
However, the major notion is that this is a big risk. Salman might have played a big gamble with all these choices.
