It seems like Bollywood has some of the biggest movie clashes lined up for the remaining five months of 2025! A few are even calling it movie-to-movie marking, where a Hindi film is immediately countered by a Pan-India release or vice versa.

Now, let’s quickly take a look at the most anticipated face-offs

Kingdom vs. Dhadak 2

Vijay Deverakonda’s comeback vehicle Kingdom, directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, drops on July 31 in Telugu and Tamil. Of course, the music by Anirudh adds hype, and we believe Vijay is ready for some good business after the disaster of his earlier film, Liger.

But the very same week, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2 arrives. Don’t go by the name because this one’s not a sequel. If reports are to be believed, it is going to be a hard-hitting standalone film with the best music of 2025.

Our verdict? A fierce Hindi vs. South Indian duel that may either lead to two good films grossing at the box office or one taking over the other.

Clash 2: Kantara Chapter 1 vs. Sunny Sanskari Tulsi Kumari

Rishabh Shetty reconfirmed October 2 as the release date for Kantara: Chapter 1 recently. With this, he also quashed all rumours about the film’s postponement.

But, it will clash with Dharma Productions’ Sunny Sanskari Tulsi Kumari starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, this is also Varun’s comeback film as he will be seen returning to the rom-com zone.

A few also predict that the film will bring back the actor’s Dulhania era charm.

The rom-com also stars Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, making it a star-studded Dharma production.
So, it’s yet to be seen which film will be able to win the hearts of the audiences.

Clash 3: Thamma and Aashiqui 3 vs. Sardar 2, Karuppu and Dude

Thamma, which already created a lot of hype with its first look, is set to “break all records” with its smart release during Diwali.

While Aashiqui 3 might shift out of the date, Thamma will definitely stay, and is expected to spark major conversations and collections.

Meanwhile, films from the South aren’t also backing down and have a huge pipeline for Diwali release. The main ones are Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude, Karthi’s Sardar 2, and Soori’s Karuppu

It’s almost like Diwali ka date toh khaali jaane nahi denge bhai!

Clash 4: Coolie vs. War 2

Now, let’s talk about the no-brainer clash of the year. On one side, we have Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie starring Rajinikanth.

On the other side, there is Ayan Mukerji’s War 2 featuring Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan.
Both are expected to be Pan India releases but here’s our predicted take:

Coolie will mint Rs. 200 crore overseas alone, but War 2 might also have a chance to cross Rs. 1000 crore globally.

Clash 5: Alpha vs. Dacoit

Christmas 2025 will also be quite entertaining as it will witness the continuation of The Spy Universe with Alpha. The film is supposed to be a follow-up to War 2, featuring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor.

The brownie point? Hrithik Roshan in a cameo!

Now, this action drama will clash with Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’ Dacoit.
However, a few are skeptical about this film because unless you are a big star in the Hindi belt, these PR-driven Pan-India films just come and go.

Alpha is likely going to be the winner, but you never know!

Clash 6: Dhurandhar vs. Raja Saab

Originally underestimated, R. Madhavan’s Dhurandhar, a RAW agent thriller, now has everyone talking.
Everyone’s mouths were tightly shut with awe after the release of its first look.

The latest that we know is that it is set against Prabhas’ Raja Saab. So, it won’t be wrong to call this clash the ultimate Hindi vs. Pan-India battle.

With Ranveer Singh playing a high-stakes undercover agent entering Pakistan, we expect complete fireworks.

But we also cannot underestimate Prabhas’ Raja Saab which may make almost Rs. 100 crore on the first day of its release.
