After Saiyaara’s storm at the box office it seems like the romance genre is reviving itself as a solid blockbuster potential. There are some exciting romantic dramas lined up for the big screen release and Dhadak 2 by Dharma Productions is a much anticipated project amongst them.
Dhadak launched Ishan Khattar and Jahnvi Kapoor on the big screens and it was received mostly as a moving romance. Now, Dhadak 2 is also set with a fresh pairing of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri.
Recently, a song from the film named Preet Re was released and it brings back that classic college romance vibe which fans were waiting for so long. Siddhant and Tripti’s chemistry also seems genuine and heartwarming.
The film is going to be a tragic romance of love and loss. With Saiyaara the heartbreak season seems to have begun and it is receiving a massive amount of footfall at the big screens.
If Dhadak 2 continues to impress with its trailer and further song releases, it has a potential to perform. Tripti and Siddhant also need a big hit to bring their career on the right track.
