Diljit Dosanjh OUT of Border 2

Border 2 might face some changes in its casting as the producers have recently received a letter from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, also called FWICE. The letter is associated with the casting of Diljit Dosanjh.

Notably, the letter has described Diljit’s casting as a violation of the federation’s earlier boycott directive against the actor and singer.

The federation said that they were disappointed with Diljit’s casting and addressed the boycott he is facing right now due to his collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3. The letter accused Diljit of ignoring national statement.

Apart from Border 2, Imtiaz Ali and Sunny Deol have also received legal notices related to the casting of Diljit Dosanjh in a film which is arriving next year.

Border 2 is already in the filming stage. Considering that the makers have committed to bringing it on the big screen in Republic Day 2026, it remains to be seen if the film will face any delay if the producers decide to go for a re-casting of Diljit’s role.

Moreover, the producers are yet to respond to the letter, and Sunny Deol himself has not addressed anything about the ongoing controversy from his side for now.

Diljit is undoubtedly involved in big trouble right now, and the current situation has hinted that his career might get impacted by the controversies that are taking a worse turn right now.
