Mukesh Rishi speaks about his Jammu innocence and his perspective of the Indian film industry, particularly what happened with Salman Khan. Mukesh comments on his small-town upbringing in Jammu and how it has made him a down-to-earth person that he has transferred to the world of films.

In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Mukesh explains his off-screen experiences with Salman Khan, particularly their drinking episodes. He narrates, “We used to have drinks together and it was always relaxed and fun. Salman is very down to earth and makes everyone feel comfortable.”

Mukesh describes these as not being a casual meeting but a means to gain trust and friendship. He remembers how Salman used to start such get-togethers, relax everyone and generate a warm and friendly environment on and off the sets

Regarding his break, Mukesh shares that director Priyadarshan and Salman Khan’s knack for identifying talent at first glance gave him a chance in Gardish. This was the beginning of his consistent climb along with stars such as Salman, whose screen presence and industry pull is legendary.
