It’s been quite a while since Salman Khan had a real box-office success. His last film, Sikandar, which came out during Eid, didn’t do well at all—it turned out to be a flop.
Both Salman and director Murugadoss faced a lot of backlash, with many calling the film outdated and dull.
Now, with everyone eagerly waiting for his next project, the latest update is likely to disappoint fans even further.
With underwhelming director Apoorva Lakhia, Salman Khan has locked in to start his next project which showcases the Galwan Valley war from 2020.
The actor is set to portray the brave officer Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, who laid down his life during the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces.
The film is expected to go into the shooting phase in July 2025. The director has acquired the rights to the first chapter, I Had Never Seen Such Fierce Fighting – The Galwan Clash of June 2020, which offers a gripping first-hand account of the events that unfolded in Galwan Valley.
The screenplay has been adapted by Suresh Nair, working alongside Chintan Gandhi and Chintan Shah, with Shah also writing the dialogues.
Given the underwhelming collaboration, fans expect disappointment from Salman once again as he is rumored to launch his bodyguard Shera’s son Abir Singh.
What looks like a possible project to launch new stars, Salman Khan’s much-awaited comeback looks impossible given the poor cast and crew of this upcoming biopic.
Many users also called Salman unfit for the role of a respected army man and stated how good directors and actors need to enact this story.
Only time will tell how the film turns out to be ahead and whether will it create any impact at the box office or not.
