On his opposition is the witty and sharp-minded R Madhavan who portrays the lawyer Neville McKinley and looks to prove Sankaran Nair wrong in an epic courtroom battle.

Ananya Panday also looks fresh as a advocate and is looking to provide justice in the film.
By the looks of it, the film is looking to be bold and dark showcasing lethal violence and drama. Though it looks good and has a chance to become a good film, nothing can be guaranteed.
With several classy and massy moments in the film, it promises to be an edge-of-the-seat courtroom drama.
While the film showcases extreme violence, it is highly unlikely that families would take their kids to the theatres to watch this film.
What attracts families is the classic action-centered films with a blend of comedy and romance but as Kesari Chapter 2 proves to be dark and violent, the film might get an Adult certification.
The scenes where the killings of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre are shown can alone be the reason for the film’s Adult certification.
All in all, while the film has several talking points and showcases Akshay in a bold and must-watch avatar, the main question lies will it attract the masses given its gore violence and dark plot.
It all comes down to April 18 as Kesari Chapter 2 makes its way to the big screens aiming to be Akshay Kumar’s comeback after a long time.
