Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is supposed to go on floors soon. As per the latest update, the film is currently in the production phase, with the script prepared by Umesh Bisht. Notably, Khosla Ka Ghosla was released back in 2006 and unexpectedly turned out to be successful.
The sequel is also expected to feature Huma Qureshi, and an official announcement will be made about the same. An insider stated that Huma will be one of the lead characters in the film, and she has already loved the script.
While a lot of details about the plot remain unknown, the story will continue from where the original film ended, and the makers have prepared a script at the level of the first film to ensure that the comedy is up to the mark. A source said that casting is being finalized for the film right now.
Moreover, Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 will arrive in theatres sometime in 2026, and the makers are planning to start shooting by November this year. However, an official confirmation is awaited on the return of Anupam Kher and Boman Irani.
Khosla Ka Ghosla worked many years ago because of a different storyline that was loved by the audience. It was directed by Dibakar Banerjee, who has been an expert in making films that combine comedy with other themes.
However, it is hard to say whether the sequel will repeat the success of the original film, which was released almost 19 years ago.
