According to a recent exclusive by Pinkvilla, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is making steady progress on his much-anticipated film Love And War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.
The film, which began shooting in November last year, has already wrapped up nearly 50% of its shoot.
Sources close to the production shared that starting August 2025, Bhansali will begin filming intense face-off scenes between Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Known for his larger-than-life storytelling, Bhansali is putting together elaborate sets to create the right atmosphere for these dramatic, dialogue-heavy moments, which are expected to be key highlights of the film.
So far, the team has completed around 100 days of shooting, with another 90 days planned.
Most of the filming will continue in Mumbai studios, but an outdoor schedule is lined up in Europe after October, with Bhansali recently scouting scenic spots in Rome for these segments.
Despite the tight and ambitious timeline, Love And War remains on course for its scheduled release in March 2026.
The crew has been editing completed footage in between shoot schedules to keep post-production on track.
Alia Bhatt, meanwhile, will be shooting high-energy sequences in October and November, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.
