Controversial Videos of Shilpa Shetty: Court Takes Big Action

Shilpa Shetty Mumbai court relief

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, have received temporary relief from a Mumbai court in their defamation case against social media influencer Shamita Yadav, popularly known as “The Ranting Gola.”

The couple approached the court after Shamita allegedly posted two Instagram reels in February containing serious allegations against them. According to Shilpa and Raj, the videos falsely portrayed them as criminals and even accused them of targeting minors. They argued that the reels quickly spread across social media, damaging their reputation.

The court has now directed the influencer to immediately remove the two disputed reels and any other defamatory content related to the case from all social media platforms. Until the next hearing, she has also been restrained from posting or sharing any further defamatory content against Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, or their companies.

The court observed that the allegations made in the videos did not appear to be supported by facts and that the couple had shown sufficient grounds for interim protection while the case is being heard.

The legal battle is still ongoing, but for now, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have secured a significant interim victory, with the controversial videos ordered to be taken down.
