The British-Indian production ‘Santosh’ has created a stir in the film fraternity and cinephiles are all excited to watch the film in theaters.

The movie is yet to be certified by the Central Board of Film Certification. According to media reports, the reason behind this delay is the year-end holidays. The trailer for the movie has been approved but the full film is yet to be certified.

The current socio-political situation also has to be kept in mind and with the certification, the board has to balance its creative essence with local sensibilities.

Those who have been able to watch ‘Santosh’ have said that this is the best cop film to ever come out of India. There have been many iconic cop films in India like ‘Ardh Satya’, ‘Shool’, ‘Article 15’ and many more. And if ‘Santosh’ manages to top them, it will be quite an achievement.

Audiences will have to wait a bit longer for the film to come to theaters and then they will be able yo judge for themselves whether Santosh deserves the appreciation or not.
