Deepak Kumar Mishra VVan

Director Deepak Kumar Mishra has recently opened up on the rumors that emerged about his upcoming film Vvan, which features Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. Notably, a few reports claimed that Deepak was removed from the film due to creative differences with Sidharth.

While Sidharth has not shared any response from his side, the rumors emerged from a report by Peeping Moon. The report claimed that Deepak and Sidharth could not align on the creative aspects of the film’s vision.

The report also stated that the disagreements happened during the discussions that took place as part of the film’s pre-production, which led to an uneasy working environment alongside the exit of Deepak Kumar Mishra as the director of the film.

The upcoming film is said to be linked to Indian folklore and is reportedly taking inspiration from the legend of Kerala’s Iringole Kavu. Apart from Sidharth, Tamannaah Bhatia also plays an important role, and it is produced by TVF and Balaji Telefilms.

Deepak has possibly never directed a project of such a large scale. Considering that he is doing it for the first time, it remains to be seen if Deepak will deliver the results as per expectations.
