The cast of Pushpa 2 is facing raised eyebrows across the internet as a case of misbehavior was observed at a recent celebratory event for the movie, where a female senior press journalist was physically assaulted by Allu Arjun’s manager while she was live streaming through her phone.
The journalist, Vibha Kaul Bhat, was at a press meet using her phone to provide live coverage of the event. However, a person who later identified himself as the manager of superstar Allu Arjun yanked her phone and threw it on the ground.

Feeling humiliated, the senior journalist somehow managed to stay until the event concluded. Trying her best not to create a scene in an already heated situation, she passed a note to the actor asking for strict action.
However, to her dismay, there was no response from the superstar—not even an apology was offered to the journalist. This incident has divided the internet.

However, the star culture of Indian cinema has a bad habit of inflating the egos of actors, who often fail to acknowledge the discomfort they knowingly or unknowingly cause.
Vibha at least deserves an apology, which she hasn’t received yet, let alone any action being taken against the manager.
While some may argue that privacy infringement of actors is a genuine concern, this remains one of the few cons of being a public figure of such stature.
