The trailer for Ajay Devgn’s ‘Raid 2’ is out now but it does not look as intriguing as fans expected it to be. Many are saying, rather than a sequel, the movie should be called a remake of the first movie only.
‘Raid’ was a huge success and fans thought the second part would be able to carry on its wonder and suspense. But there does not seem to be anything new at all. One thing that is highly disappointing to fans is Ajay Devgn sports the same look as he did in various movies like Drishyam and Singham Again.
Even the plot looks the same as the first movie. People are pointing out that Riteish Deshmukh’s character is also a powerful politician like Saurabh Shukla in Raid, he has a mother like Shukla as well. The only change is that the heroine has been changed.
Riteish Deshmukh had done a wonderful job as a villain in ‘Ek Villain’ but in this trailer he fails to inspire awe and fear. Audiences find Raid 2 bland and highly predictable from the trailer and there does not seem to be any USPs that can pull people to theaters.
