Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara is all set to release on July 18, 2025, and early estimates have hinted that it might turn out to be one of the biggest hits of this year. Advance booking for the film has already opened on different platforms and it is witnessing a positive response from the audience.
A source has claimed that around 12,500 tickets have been sold in national chains by 4 p.m. The national chains include PVRInox and Cinepolis, where 10,000 tickets were sold in the former alongside 2,500 in Cinepolis.
Moreover, all of these happened without any announcement from Yash Raj Films or the director and the actors playing the lead. With only three days left for release, the film sold almost 1,000 tickets in less than 24 hours for the first day.
Apart from these, the non-national chains are also witnessing a huge amount of ticket sales. Furthermore, around 30% occupancy is being witnessed so far for the shows on Day 1, and considering that there are still three more days to go, the shows might be sold out by July 18.
The booking trends have also turned out to be higher and better than other big films that released this year, including Sky Force, Kesari Chapter 2, and Sitaare Zameen Par.
The current situation has proved another time that a strong and impactful trailer will always attract the audience. Saiyaara managed to leave a positive impression with its trailer and the glimpses of the music also created a lot of hype.
Youth audiences are expected to contribute to the film’s success. Moreover, an intense love story is something that was missing in Hindi films for a long time. It seems like Saiyaara will bring back audiences in huge numbers to watch a Hindi film.
On the other hand, there is also a fear of the content turning out to be underwhelming after so much hype. But the answer will be provided once the first show on Day 1 ends and the audience come out of the theatres to give their responses. Let’s wait till then.
