In the past few years, a huge number of B-town nepo kids have been launched into the film world. Amongst them, there were some solid expectations with female talents as industry needs more of them to increase its women force of this day and age.
One complaint has been that the outsiders are not getting decent opportunities in comparison to nepo-kids. On top of that these nepo-kid divas as per the fans are all buzz and no performance.
Yet if some good or at least palatable performances were to be ranked, with her recent debut Shanaya Kapoor has emerged as a big contender. With her decent performance in her fresh debut she is expected to be polished in her future projects.
As per many experts and fans, Sara Ali Khan gave one of the best debuts in Kedarnath as of the recent nepo kid actresses. After which consensus is that Shanaya Kapoor has now impressed with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey, with the film being a big disaster nonetheless.
Jahnvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday arguably gave good performances in Dhadak and SOTY 2. However, the fans rank them much lower in the list of contenders.
But the most disastrous debuts amongst these divas is bagged by SRK’s beloved Suhana Khan and Sri Devi’s youngest Khushi Kapoor. Both starred in the same project Archies which is considered a cinematic debacle.
Hopes are with the upcoming debuts and fans demand outside talent to get an equal opportunity.
