Don 3 has been making headlines ever since its inception. However, the film is in the news for all the wrong reasons. It all started after the announcement that Shah Rukh Khan won’t be a part of the franchise.
The most surprising part? Ranveer Singh would be reportedly replacing King Khan as the protagonist. Bollywood buffs found it difficult to digest the fact because it is quite obvious that both actors are poles apart.
In the midst of all this, Vikrant Massey of 12th fail fame is said to be a part of Don 3. Again, a shock for the audience. There is no denying that Vikrant is an amazing actor but what is he doing in Don 3? That’s the question.
Then again, the actor will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Dostana 2. In fact, Vikrant is already going to begin Don 3’s shoot, followed by Dostana 2.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh, along with Farhan Akhtar, will return to working on Don 3 in September 2025. Vikrant is reportedly playing a negative role in the film.
The Don franchise was able to win the hearts of the audience till date because big names like Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas were a part of it.
The audience has always rejected the idea of another actor taking over Shah Rukh in Don 3. However, the makers seem to have turned a blind eye to all the criticism.
Although the makers are reportedly willing to cast Kriti Sanon after Kiara Advani’s exit from the film, it is not enough to make the film successful. Considering the negative response towards the reports of Don 3, the makers should have negotiated with SRK.
The audience is not ready to see anyone else playing Don right now. However, it has a chance to leave an impact only if the promotional material can leave an impression.
