The COVID-19 pandemic has brought the entire world to a standstill. While everyone is affected, the most visible is, of course, the movie industry which hits the headlines every other day.
Some of the biggest movies were supposed to get on sets soon. One of them is Karan Johar’s directorial venture Takht. The Baahubali presenter’s ambitious effort was finally set to take off from April 24th. It is a Mughal era period flick and the director has scouted some fabulous locations to shoot.
Taking to the social media, Karan Johar shares some of the gorgeous shooting locations from Spain. They are indeed regal and classy in an epic way. Unfortunately, the coronavirus has halted their plans.
Check out the images. The sharing of pictures at this time seems to be a diversion tactic from the maker. There is an increasing buzz regarding the project getting shelved. What adds fire to the rumours is that Karan Johar has dropped a couple of such biggies under similar circumstances.
Takht is to star Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor etc. in critical roles. It is slated to release for Christmas 2021.
