Similarly, Tripti Dimri, who gave some wonderful performances in Laila Majnu and Qala, is unnecessarily getting labelled for glamorous parts where her actual acting talent is not being utilized. This kind of usage serves no one: the industry that is taking advantage of her physical appeal; or to the audience that sees her beyond that.
Shahid Kapoor is another example. Once known for the sweet and innocent roles like aditya Kashyap in Jab we Met, Prem in Vivaah with the success of Kabir Singh, he seems to think that each remake will work like that one.

The latest failure of Deva makes one think about this kind of approach. It shows the risk of basing everything on past successes and not innovating or taking creative risks.
It is high time Bollywood realizes injustice of typecasting and breaks those talented actors free from their pigeonholes, letting them breathe across various roles to let their true self shine.
