Vikrant Massey has already carved a place in people’s hearts with films like 12th Fail and Sector 36.

Their on-screen chemistry seemed promising, and amidst the crowd of action-heavy films, this romance looked like a glimmer of hope that Bollywood had something more to offer.

However, when the trailer dropped yesterday, fans couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed. It seems they might have over-expected yet again.

As interesting as the film’s premise sounds, the trailer fell short of the emotional depth people were hoping for from a romance.

It felt disjointed, lacked soul, and did little to build excitement. In fact, it may have even dampened whatever buzz had been created.

Many trade experts are already speculating on how much the film might earn on its opening day at the theatres next week, and the numbers don’t look very promising.

They predict that the film could collect in the range of ₹80 lakhs to ₹1.5 crore net.

They add that this is the minimum it must earn, or else it will be declared dead on arrival, with a very limited run in theatres.

A longer run seems unlikely for this romance, and even the minimum collections could be difficult to achieve.

However, a trailer doesn’t always define a film. It’s entirely possible that the film turns out to be good, and the trailer simply fails to capture its essence.

Many fans hope that’s the case, and that this romance truly lives up to expectations.
