Sunny Deol’s Jaat

After Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is preparing to bounce back with Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film is arriving in theatres on April 10, 2025, which means that only a week is left.

The makers have been releasing all the units, including the songs and music videos, and the trailer has also left a positive impression.

Trade analysts are also confident that the film will attract the audience, specifically at the single screens, who are craving to watch mass entertainers.

But the film still has a big challenge in terms of collections, and it has to be bigger and better than Gadar 2. Apart from that, Jaat has to take over the collections recorded by Salman Khan, who has also been a close friend of Sunny Deol over the years.

Before Sikandar, Salman Khan’s last film that arrived on Eid was Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Released in 2023, the film managed to accumulate almost Rs. 110 crores despite that it turned out to be a flop and could not recover the budget.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan reportedly collected Rs. 15 crores on the first day of release, and the numbers improved a little bit on the next two days.

To surpass the records made by Salman Khan, Jaat has to collect almost Rs. 20 crores on Day 1, and it has to receive a positive response at the same time.

Since the film is releasing on Thursday, there is an advantage of the extended weekend, which might help Jaat to record decent numbers on the first weekend.

The budget is reported to be almost Rs. 100 crores, and considering the content of the film, things might not be tough for Jaat to create a new record at the box office. Let’s wait and see if Jaat can leave an impression on the audience on the day of its release.
