The planet of Arrakis is dominating the whole world, as Dune part Two entered it’s sixth week, it again grossed domestically $7 million and surpassed the top list.
This epic science fiction grossed $11 million more globally, With $265 million domestically and another $395 million from overseas markets, “Dune Part Two”, grossed a total of $660 million worldwide. In fact, it’s one of the biggest IMAX , which grossed around $140 million in the format since its release.
Based on the young heir of the Atreides family, Dune Part Two revolves around the sheer politics present in Frank Herbert’s novel, making Paul the very thing he always avoided.
This movie is Timothee Chalamet’s biggest hit of all time.
Before the first movie leaves our mind, the development of “Dune Messiah” is already under process. Hans Zimmer is again making the background score for Dune Messiah.
Rumours have it it’ll be a blend of “Dune Messiah” and “Childrens of Dune” at the same time. Denis said, in the upcoming movie Paul won’t be portrayed as a protagonist, but rather an antagonist .
Dune Part Two concludes with Chani’s character becoming a warrior for her Fremens. Ends Frank Herbert’s book in a very beautiful manner. Although Denis’s own interpretation about the movie is another aspect which made the movie a more intriguing one.
