After years of wait, the cinema screens will have the Kung Fu Panda fans thrilled on March 8, 2024, as the movie is set to delve into the fourth chapter of the beloved animation series. The next episode of the Kung Fu Panda series looks to recapture the hilarity, punch and depth to the same extent as the former movies, which have been the object of desire of global audiences.
The movie progresses with the main character, a kung fu master nicknamed panda cookies, voiced by guru Jack Black, facing a new task of being the Valley of Peace’s spiritual leader. Eventually when the new Dragon Warrior is found, Po has to train him, all the while Chameleon, that is very skilled villainess played by Oscar winner Viola Davis, plots to free all the villains to the spirit realm like he did before.
In Kung Fu Panda 4, Mike Mitchell directs the film, who has been the leading director of DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls and Shrek Forever After and also co-directed the movie. The movie has got Dustin Hoffman along with James Hong, Bryan Cranston and Ian McShane returning to the voice talent. Ke Huy Quan, Ronny Chieng and Lori Tan Chinn are addition to the cast.
The Kung Fu Panda trilogy has become one of the most successful and recognized animated franchises, raising over $1.8 billion during its worldwide release and receiving numerous positive reviews from reviewers. The first part premiered in 2008 and it was a nominated movie for the best animated feature of the Oscars and it got also several prizes from the Annie Awards.
