Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to create history at the Indian box office. Advance booking has already indicated the film’s extraordinary pull. The film sold more than 1.3 million tickets in advance on BookMyShow alone.

Reports suggest the movie has amassed nearly ₹80 crore in advance sales for its four-day extended opening weekend, including approximately ₹31 crore for the opening day alone.

According to trade estimates, the film is expected to collect around ₹45–50 crore gross on its opening day across all languages in India. The momentum is expected to continue through the extended opening weekend.

Trade forecasts suggest Spider-Man: Brand New Day could gross ₹140–150 crore over its extended weekend, setting a new benchmark for Hollywood films in India if the projections hold true.

It is yet another sign that Indian audiences are increasingly embracing global cinema alongside homegrown films.
