Well, Inside Out 2 has passed , “Minions”, by grossing $1.16 Billion worldwide.
What? You don’t believe me! Because this is true, “Inside Out 2” is in its second week, ruled the box office like anything else.
The Pixar film is now ahead of Legendary’s Dune: Part Two to become the top-grossing film of 2024, it passed Despicable Me 4 which is currently on going moving behind Inside Out 2, but of course it passed the Minions.
After finishing on Thursday with a worldwide gross of $481.4 million, Inside Out 2 grossed $500 million globally.
Total on through Thursday it grossed $226.7 million, meaning Inside Out 2 could finish its second weekend with $650 million to $700 million.
But the latest entry in Universal and Illumination, a wildly successful franchise about a domesticated former supervillain, has earned $47.6 million in its first two days.
Although Despicable Me 4 had a $100 million budget, way less than Inside Out 2, which makes it understandable.
But Minions?
Inside Out 2 has reportedly beaten Minions’ global haul to become the fifth highest-grossing animation ever. The movie, released in 2015, collected $1.16 million at the worldwide box office.
