While the ongoing year has not been so good for the film industry, the lineup of releases for 2027 has now created a lot of expectations. Most of them are going to feature popular faces from Bollywood, and a few are being made on a big scale.

Notably, the year will start with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on January 21, which has witnessed multiple delays so far since 2025. This will be followed by Nagzilla and Tu Meri Zindagi on Valentine’s Day, which means February 14.

In March, there are multiple releases. The first is Spirit on March 5, marking a big collaboration of Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It will reportedly clash with Salman Khan and Vamshi Paidipally’s next film, arriving on the same date. Then there is John Abraham’s Force 3 on March 19. A week later, Ali Abbas Zafar and Ahaan Panday’s romantic action film will release on March 26.

In April 7, there is S.S. Rajamouli’s next big release, Varanasi. Maddock Horror Comedy Universe’s next installment, Shakti Shalini, is expected to arrive in April or May. This will be followed by Lag Jaa Gale and Captain India on May 14 and August 13.

Ajay Devgn’s Chauhaan, which is creating headlines with its first glimpse, has already locked its date on October 1. Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana 2 is coming on October 29. Then there is the much-awaited Tumbbad 2 on December 3.

Vicky Kaushal’s Mahavatar Parashuram, which was announced a long time ago, will also arrive in December. The big release in Christmas is going to be Golmaal 5.

The lineup looks interesting. Netizens also reacted by saying that compared to the ongoing year, they will get to witness something interesting and original, despite that a few sequels are also coming. However, trade experts have stated that recovery will entirely depend on content and the budget invested in the films.

With five more months to go for 2027, let’s wait and see which one among the above-mentioned films will have a long run at the box office.
