Actress Swathi Reddy, popularly known as “Colors” Swathi, has officially announced her second marriage to filmmaker Sreekanth Naogoti. The actress shared the news directly via her social media account, posting wedding pictures with the simple caption, “Married”.
Sreekanth Naogoti is the director behind the 2023 emotional drama Month of Madhu, the project that marked Swathi’s professional acting comeback to the silver screen after a multi-year hiatus.
Swathi was previously married to Vikas Vasu, a Malayali international pilot, in a wedding that took place in 2018. Following her first marriage, she kept a very low profile regarding her personal life.
Over the last couple of years, particularly around her re-entry into cinema, intense speculations emerged suggesting the couple had quietly divorced after she removed their photos from social media.
True to her private nature, the actress consistently chose not to respond to or clarify those separation rumors publicly. The low-key wedding ceremony was reportedly held in an intimate setting, attended primarily by family members and close associates from both sides.
This sudden official announcement effectively puts an end to the long-standing speculation surrounding her marital status. It confirms her new personal and professional partnership with the director of her comeback film, Sreekanth Naogoti, following the conclusion of her previous marriage.
