Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone has left the cast and crew of director Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi action spectacle Raaka completely inspired.
Currently seven months pregnant with her second child, the actress is pulling night shifts and executing demanding, physically grueling stunt sequences to ensure the high-budget entertainer stays firmly on schedule before she takes her maternity break.
Despite previously championing a balanced lifestyle and advocating for a structured eight-hour workday in the film industry, Padukone is currently pushing her physical limits on the sets in Mumbai.
Crew members have expressed deep admiration for her absolute focus and professional discipline, noting that she successfully accomplishes intense action blocks while seamlessly balancing daily routines and caring for her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter at home.
This isn’t the first time the actress has tackled high-octane sequences during pregnancy, she previously completed intense climax portions for major projects like Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again during her first pregnancy.
Raaka, which features Tollywood icon Allu Arjun in the lead role alongside Padukone, marks the highly anticipated first-ever on-screen collaboration between the two massive stars. The pan-India project is being mounted on a mammoth scale, packed with cutting-edge visual effects and complex action choreography.
Padukone’s relentless daily commitment to wrapping up her major portions without a break, the movie’s tight production schedule remains on track for its grand theatrical rollout in 2027.
