No one has any doubts regarding Puri Jagannadh’s creative talents. He is one director who knows the best of promotional tactics and innovative activites for his movies. However one thing remained a challenge till date that he couldn’t accomplish. That is establishing his brother Sairam Shankar as a successful hero in Tollywood. Except ‘Bumper Offer’ none of Sairam Shankar’s movies could even stick to theatres for more than a few weeks inspite of Puri’s best of efforts.
The latest to join the band wagon of Sairam’s unsuccessful films is ‘Romeo’. Though the story and dialogues of the movie were penned down by Puri, the film couldn’t garner any positive buzz after the release. Amongst the other small films released on the same day, it remains the movie which is least opted for. Still Puri is hopeful.
