Gabbar Singh 2 sequel to the blockbuster Gabbar Singh that brought Pawan Kalyan back to life has been one of the most anticipated releases ever since its announcement last year. There were tremendous expectations on the film and every little detail of the film was heavily scrutinized. Add to it the fact that Pawan Kalyan scored two back to back success, fans were expecting a hat-trick of sorts with this release.
Unfortunately though the film kept getting postponed from shooting and the latest one hears on this project is anything but good news for the fans. Over the past few days rumors have gained momentum in the industry that the film has been shelved and it’s not going to happen. The reason seems to be that Pawan Kalyan is not happy with the way the script has shaped up and isn’t convinced with Sampath Nandi to pull it off.
With the announcement of OMG! Oh My God remake starring Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan in the lead it looks almost confirmed that Gabbar Singh 2 might not happen at all. Another factor that points us strongly in this direction is the presence of Sarath Marar as joint producer for this remake. Sarath Marar as we know was to make his debut as producer with Gabbar Singh 2 and now with this change in movie confirms the status of Gabbar Singh 2.
