IIIT Student’s Suicide Note to Mahesh Babu

Puli Sunandh Kumar Reddy of Guntur district, a fourth-year CSD student of the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has committed suicide after he hanged himself with a bedsheet in his room at the campus hostel.

He left behind two suicide notes one for his parents and the other for his favourite actor, Superstar Mahesh Babu. In the letter, he revealed that he is a fan of Mahesh Babu and had watched all his films in a futile attempt to combat stress.

The walls in Sunandh’s room are covered with posters of Mahesh Babu. His friends and the faculty at the IIIT said he was doing well academically and never showed any sign of depression. A case was registered and the investigation is on.
