Most of the actresses in the film industry rely upon their managers to take care of their offers and financial affairs concerned to films. Senior actress Indraja too had a manager when she was doing well in Telugu Film Industry as a heroine.

She opines that it is her PR’s work to bring her offers and promote her among filmmakers. If he couldn’t do that, she could only ask him why he wasn’t doing his duty. She’s got to do special songs back to back in top heroes’ films then. She didn’t want to continue that as she came to the Industry to play heroine roles.
Once, without telling Indraja, her manager took an advance of Rs. 45 lakhs for an item song. She didn’t want to do it. But, the manager pleaded to do it for once, at least. Later, the actress got busy with Malayalam Films as she didn’t get good offers in Telugu. The way she expressed her opinions in a recent interview clearly speaks that she wasn’t happy with her manager’s PR skills, back then.
