With only a few hours left until the release, advance sales for Jana Nayagan are now happening in full swing. Even though bookings for Jana Nayagan are dull overseas and in the Telugu states, advance sales in Tamil Nadu are solid and if this trend continues, the film is all set for a 30+ crore Day 1 collection in the state, despite the leak.
In this scenario, many people on social media are posting that some theatres in Tamil Nadu are selling the First Day First Show tickets for Jana Nayagan for more than 1,000 rupees, while the government-allocated price in the state is just 190- 200 rupees, including tax.
Also, many news channels are continuously reporting on black-market ticket sales for Jana Nayagan in Tamil Nadu. Particularly in a famous theatre in Salem, a manager at the ticket counter was seen demanding 1,300 rupees for FDFS tickets of Jana Nayagan. The video of the theatre manager demanding a high price for the tickets has now gone viral on social media, sparking heated discussions.
In response to these black-ticket controversies, some people on social media are questioning Vijay about what actions he is going to take against them. This is because a few days ago, some sources suggested that Vijay had formed a separate team to monitor ticket sales for Jana Nayagan, especially to control black-market ticket sales.
They claim that no action seems to have been taken by Vijay against it and they allege that the team formed by Vijay to prevent black-market ticket sales is sleeping. They suggest that Vijay does not actually want to control the black-market ticket sales for Jana Nayagan and find it suspicious, claiming he formed the special team just to maintain his goodwill among the people of Tamil Nadu.
However, with lots of controversies surrounding the black-ticket sales of Jana Nayagan in Tamil Nadu, it remains to be seen what action Vijay will take against the people who have committed this offense in the following days.
