Thalapathy Vijay’s last film Jana Nayagan is set for a massive global release on July 23 after a long wait. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced ambitiously by Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions, the film features a stellar cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Mamitha Baiju. KVN interacted with media about the film.
The journey to the release faced several unforeseen hurdles, including delays, piracy issues, and court matters, pushing the film from its initial January schedule. However, KVN views this positively, as the film now arrives after the lead actor’s elevation to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He opined, “Watching a sitting Chief Minister on the big screen offers a rare and extraordinary experience for this generation of theatergoers.”
He stated that the film might be a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari but it will be one different from the original and give a new experience. He revealed that they are planning a grand release across 7,000 to 8,000 screens globally, ensuring a massive reach. KVN further noted that the actor’s immense discipline and dedication made working on this project an absolute joy.
Despite the release delays and a surprising ‘A’ censor certificate, the team remains confident in the powerful message the film carries about girl child empowerment. KVN said, “The film serves as a heartfelt tribute to the legendary actor’s cinematic legacy before he fully dedicates his life to public service. Fans can expect a deeply emotional and memorable experience in theaters.” He concluded that the film will leave a lasting impact on audiences as Vijay’s final appearance on screen.
