Mukunda is the debut film of Varun Tej, son of Mega-brother Nagababu. The film is produced jointly by Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) and Tagore Madhu. One of the producers Tagore Madhu is a well known distributor and he has bagged the rights of Tamil biggie Kaththi starring Vijay. This AR Murugadoss directed film is currently the most hyped Tamil film and is slated to release for Diwali.
Since there I still no talk about the audio release of either I and Mukunda and with Tagore Madhu taking the rights of the film, it is almost confirmed that Kaththi would have simultaneous release I Tamil and Telugu and will release for Diwali. The release dates of Mukunda and I are still in confusion and no one even in the trade have a clarity on the exact release date. Post Diwali till Christmas, the trade considers the period to be dull, we have to see which of these movies makes the first move and announce a release date.
