Naga Chaitanya Exposed Big Problem In Tollywood

For a while now, Tollywood has been harbouring this cancel culture, and also targeted hate campaigns. Every time, a big hero film releases, there is an insane amount of negativity happening around this film. The same was exposed by Naga Chaitanya.

In his latest podcast ahead of the release of Thandel Chaitanya revealed that there is a strong negative PR campaign in Tollywood that is run by certain parties. He revealed that these negative campaigns are aimed at killing films with sheer negativity on social media.

A similar phenomena was observed earlier in the case of Devara, Pushpa 2 and recently Game Changer. While the PR activity of the men associated with these films is on one side, the kind of negative PR carried out by ant groups is on a whole another level.

In the case of Devara, some anti-groups, leaked the core plot of the film just days before the release. This was followed by targeted, hate against NTR for a few days after the release.

Pushpa 2 also had to contend with hate. But luckily, for the film, it had the sequel advantage and a hugely prospective run in the Hindi belt. This managed to overpower the negativity around the same.

Chaitanya had called for the need to curb the negativity on social media as he advised the people funding these negative campaigns to instead invest that money on improving their acting skills or even go for a holiday. His implication was that rather than spreading negativity, these parties and involved heroes must spend money on their own selves.

But sadly, this culture will continue to exist as long as Tollywood is irrelevant, and there is no stopping it. Tollywood is entirely a hero centric industry, and these fandom usually cross the limit every now and then. So though there is a call to end this negative culture, there is no eradicating it and heroes are left with no other option, but to adapt to the situation.
