Balakrishna and Koratala Siva new film launch

The much-awaited combination of Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Koratala Siva is finally set to take off.

According to industry sources, the film will be officially launched on June 25 at the TTD Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Venkatayapalem near Amaravati. Reports suggest Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh will attend the ceremony as chief guests.

The project is expected to begin its first shooting schedule in the second week of July. The makers are currently constructing a massive set for an action-packed opening schedule, indicating the scale at which the film is being planned.

The film has already generated curiosity because of reports that Balakrishna will be seen in a completely new makeover. Koratala Siva is said to have designed a powerful mass character while also balancing the story with strong family emotions.

Another interesting aspect being discussed in industry circles is the tentative title, Carpenter. If the reports are accurate, Balakrishna will play a carpenter with a violent gangster past.

Sources say the profession is not merely a backdrop but plays an important role in the narrative. The character reportedly uses his skills and influence to fight injustice and bring change to society.

The project is being jointly produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Sudhakar Mikkilineni on a grand scale.

Beyond the film itself, the project is also important for Koratala Siva. The director was once regarded as one of Telugu cinema’s most dependable commercial filmmakers, delivering major hits such as Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, and Bharat Ane Nenu.

However, Acharya was a significant blow to his reputation. After the Acharya disaster and the mixed reactions to Devara, the director will be eager to deliver a film that satisfies both audiences and his critics.
