There are only a few pan-India directors we can name from the Telugu industry today.
Starting with SS Rajamouli, who will remain in history forever for opening markets beyond belief, we have names like Sukumar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and now we can safely add a new name to this prestigious list – Prasanth Varma.
Prasanth Varma has already announced that he has a grand vision for making multiple movies in his PVCU (Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe), which no one believed until Hanuman arrived. Now, it seems like the most potential idea that can generate bigger numbers with each film, as the divine aspect mixed with VFX is a killer combo.
However, what is important for Prasanth is to work more on the drama side, as he has already shown his strength in VFX, which many top directors can’t handle today.
If he can deliver one more consecutive blockbuster, there is no stopping him. The next one is extremely crucial to make an impact on the Pan-India market, especially in Hindi markets.
Rajamouli is Rajamouli because every film of his looks different; that is where he scores big and sits in a different league. Hopefully, Prasanth Varma learns from the strengths and weaknesses of other successful directors as well.
