Rajamouli is one of the biggest names in Indian cinema currently. He has now attended a cyber crime awareness campaign, initiated by Hyderabad’s police and he had a few interesting comments to make at the same.
“Cyber crimes are all over the place now. In fact, a crew member working on my film lost 10 months of his salary after a man, posing as his bank manager called him and asked for an OTP, looted his money.” Rajamouli said.
The star director added that there are many fraud schemes on the internet that offer astronomical returns to our hard-earned money and urged commoners not to fall prey for the same. “There’s some internet from common public when they’re lured by free money but what needs to be noted is that this is illegal money and will only leave you broke.”
The RRR director added that many politicians, celebrities, and influential people have also fallen prey to cyber fraud and pointed out that it’s the responsibility of commoners to stay informed about this and act accordingly.
