Rajinikanth’s Tamil-flavoured action drama Peddanna (Annaatthe in Tamil) was turned down by Telugu audiences. The film raked up good box office revenues in Tamil Nadu, but it was outrightly rejected by Telugu cinema goers for its over the top action blocks and melodramatic scenes
Now, it is heard that Peddanna will be arriving on OTT much sooner than one would have anticipated.
Apparently, Peddanna will be made available for streaming on Sun NXT from the 26th of November. If this is true, it would mean that the Rajinikanth starrer will be arriving on OTT just 3 weeks after its theatrical release.
The film’s theatrical run in the Telugu states is pretty much over now and that should justify the early OTT release.
Peddanna is directed by Siva and its has Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, and others in important roles.
