Rajinikanth’s debut political speech at MGR Educational and Research Institute in Chennai is receiving a lot of flak from social activists not for the speech but for the banners, flexies and hoarding that were erected to welcome the Superstar.

Large hoardings and digital banners were erected all through one kilometre on the way to the above-mentioned educational institution, MGR University. These banners were erected against the rules and causing a lot of inconvenience to the commuters who travel through that route.
Rajinikanth is facing criticism because he was unable to restrict fans from breaking rules in the name of showing off their devotion. Well, some are even questioning how will Rajinikanth who is breaking rules turn into a good politician. Will Rajinikanth take care of this issue for his future events?
Rajinikanth in his first speech after political entry said “Jayalalithaa is no more and Karunanidhi is ill. Tamil Nadu needs a leader. I will come and fill that vacuum. God is in my side,”. He also responded to the criticism on his banners said “I request my fans not to indulge in such activities. I apologize for the inconvenience,” said Rajinikanth.
