But then films like Gang Leader and Thank You brought down his credibility, especially Thank You which was produced by Dil Raju. For the first time, Vikram Kumar directed a film that was not written by him. It was unbelievable that someone like Vikram Kumar dished out a flat film like Thank You.
This is a great time for a director like Vikram Kumar to come up with films with crazy and unique ideas. Vikram Kumar can come up with content that can shock and thrill audiences like never before. It has been proven that if films are made with conviction, the audience is ready to accept them wholeheartedly.
But Vikram Kumar is nowhere to be seen. Yes, he is directing a web series Dootha with Naga Chaitanya in the lead for Prime Video but we would like to see more of the Vikram Kumar we became admirers of.
