Seethapayanam is scheduled to release on February 14 as a Valentine’s Day special. The interesting twist is that Vishwak Sen’s new film is releasing just one day earlier, on February 13. Initially, the movie was planned for release in the first week of April, but the team later preponed it and announced the February release nearly a month in advance. Now, Arjun’s film has been scheduled for the same weekend.
Some believe Arjun’s team intentionally chose this date knowing that Vishwak Sen’s film was releasing, expecting the old controversy to resurface and help with publicity. Others feel Arjun may be aiming for a direct box office clash with Vishwak Sen and make him realize that he potentially lost out on a good film. If both films stick to these dates, the media will inevitably revisit the past controversy during promotions.
