Even before its release, Ram Charan’s next film Peddi has become the target of negative online propaganda. A section of online reviewers has started spreading misleading opinions and unnecessary speculation about the film. Under the guise of reviews and podcasts, some YouTubers are making irresponsible comments that are now circulating widely on social media.
The controversy began when a YouTube reviewer, Naveen, popularly known as Poolachokka, made remarks about the story of Peddi during a podcast. He said that he knew the story and questioned how the makers could proceed with such a story. He also mocked the promotional buzz around the viral Chikiri song. These comments quickly went viral and triggered strong reactions among fans and even within the film industry.
Actor Vishwak Sen responded sharply to the issue and openly condemned such behavior. He criticized individuals who earn their livelihood from cinema but attempt to damage the same industry through baseless negativity. Vishwak Sen did not hold back and described such people as parasites. He stated that they benefit from cinema to sustain themselves and their families yet try to destroy films even before audiences get a chance to watch them. He compared their actions to spitting on the very plate that feeds them.
His tweet struck a chord with many netizens and industry followers. Several users came forward in support of Vishwak Sen and echoed his concerns, especially Ram Charan fans. Many pointed out that some reviewers survive entirely on film related content but still pass cheap and irresponsible remarks for attention and views. Users accused such individuals of deliberately spreading false narratives and misleading audiences in the name of criticism.
Isn’t it fair to call someone like him a parasite to cinema? He benefits from the industry, feeds himself and his family through it, yet tries to destroy a film even before it’s released. It’s like spitting on the very plate he eats from. pic.twitter.com/WcLPOGA69k
