Following the back to back commercial success of Karuppu and Vishwanath and Sons, Suriya is currently starring as the lead in the tentatively titled Suriya 47 helmed by Jithu Madhavan. The shooting of this film is nearing its final stages and sources suggest that the Suriya 47 team is aiming to release the film for Diwali.
Even before the release of Vishwanath and Sons, Suriya officially announced that for his 48th film, he is reuniting with director TJ Gnanavel once again after the massive success of Jai Bhim.
Even though there have been no official updates on Suriya’s upcoming films after Suriya 48, reports suggest that the actor is hearing stories from multiple directors and is planning to lock in the directors for his 49th and 50th films before starting the shooting for his film with TJ Gnanavel.
In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that director Nahas Hidhayath, who is known for his film RDX and is currently awaiting the release of his next film I’m Game starring Dulquer Salmaan, has recently narrated a story to Suriya.
Reportedly, after hearing the narration, Suriya was impressed with the script, but he is still awaiting the results of I’m Game to give his final approval. This is because Suriya wants to know how he handles big-budget films, making the result of I’m Game the decider for this collaboration for Suriya 49.
In response to this speculation, many Suriya fans on social media are suggesting that Nahas Hidhayath is a solid director who has already proven his potential with the film RDX.
They claim that if I’m Game also emerges as a successful venture, Suriya should collaborate with him without any hesitation, feeling that if this collaboration materializes, it would end up as another successful commercial entertainer for Suriya.
