The theatrical trailer of Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming release Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL is out. Based on what is presented, the movie looks like an all-out entertainer in the typical style of the director, G Nageshwar Reddy.
To those who are unaware, G Nageshwara Reddy made his directorial debut in the year 2001. The movie was a runaway success, 6 Teens, and since then he has been making movies frequently. There have been many successful films in his kitty, with the last one arriving in the year 2016 (Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam).
The trailer of Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL looks a little bit fresh compared to the last few disastrous outings from G Nageshwara Reddy. The production values and the casting also seem better. The entertainment aspect feels routine for the terrain, but the lack of such (regular but entertaining) movies in the recent past could work to its advantage. The makers are presenting it as the USP of the film.
Hansika will be seen after a long time in a Telugu movie. Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, on the other hand, makes her ‘direct’ Telugu cinema debut with the flick. It is her track involving the core story that would principally determine the success or failure of the film.
Sundeep Kishan made a decent comeback with Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene. He will be hoping to carry the momentum with Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL. Success here will boost his upcoming films as well.
