The Tollywood box office saw three new theatrical releases this weekend and they are Bedurulanka, Gandeevadhari Arjuna, and King Of Kotha. Fourth film, Boys Hostel released in theaters today.
Despite three new theatrical releases at the offing for the Telugu folk, not a single one of them is able to make merry at the ticket counters.
The most notable of the lot is Varun’s Gandeevadhari and this film has also failed to catch the attention of the audience. The first day numbers are negligible and the weak reviews aren’t helping the cause either.
Bedurulanka and King of Kotha are non starters. These films are not able to catch the attention of the audience. Today’s Boys Hostel is a dubbed film and it relies heavily on word of mouth and reviews over the weekend.
The Tollywood box office is lying low for this weekend and the onus is now on next weekend’s big release – Kushi to create the momentum for the box office.
