Prabhas’ Fauzi glimpse has introduced several interesting faces, but one actor in particular has caught attention. The man seen as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is Marathi actor Subodh Bhave, a familiar name in Marathi cinema but a new face for many Telugu audiences.
Bhave appears right at the beginning of the glimpse in a conversation with Adolf Hitler. His character goes on to introduce Prabhas’ mysterious soldier, setting up the story before the lead actor even appears on screen.
For Bhave, the role is also an interesting choice. He has built a reputation in Marathi cinema through films and historical roles, and has also worked as a director and producer. He has previously portrayed personalities such as Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Narayanrao Rajhans and theatre legend Kashinath Ghanekar.
That experience makes his casting as Netaji particularly interesting. Fauzi marks his entry into a major Telugu production led by Prabhas and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
While Prabhas remains the film’s main attraction, Bhave’s presence gives the opening portions a different identity. The film is set to release on March 19, 2027, and it will be interesting to see how much space Bhave’s Netaji gets in the final film.
